ACUPUNCTURE
Traditionally, acupuncture is a holistic approach to the management
of disease as well as the maintenance of health. The skill of an
acupuncturist lies in their ability to make a traditional diagnosis
from what is often a complex pattern of disharmony. The exact pattern
and degree of disharmony is unique to each individual and with traditional
acupuncture will be treated as such with a personalised treatment
plan.
An ancient Chinese system of medicine that is based on the belief
that paths of energy flow through the body.

HOMEOPATHY
Homeopathy is a gentle, non-invasive and effective medical system
and most pathological conditions as well as mental and emotional
problems can be treated homeopathically.
Homeopathy
is the safest and more reliable approach to ailments and has withstood
the assaults of established medical practice for over 100 years"
(Yehudi Menuhin)
Homeopathic medicines are remedies not drugs.
The remedies stimulate your body to heal itself.
Homeopathic remedies are non-toxic and are non-habit forming.
Homeopathic remedies are not tested on animals.
Homeopathy is a system of medicine that gently stimulates healing.
In homeopathy, children as well as adults are seen as a complete
and whole person. Symptoms are recognized as that person's best
effort at healing. The pattern of these symptoms is what determines
the homeopathic remedy needed to stimulate healing.
The purpose of homeopathic treatment is to increase your vitality,
and to increase the body's own resistance to disease and capacity
for self-healing.

REFLEXOLOGY
The ancient healing art of reflexology has been known to man for
many thousands of years. It was first practiced by the early Indian,
Chinese and Egyptian peoples. They observed that congestion or tension
in any part of the foot mirrors congestion or tension in a corresponding
part of the body. Thus, when you treat the big toes there is a related
effect in the head, and treating the whole foot can have a relaxing
and healing effect on the whole body.
The body has the ability to heal itself. Following illness, stress,
injury or disease, it is in a state of "imbalance", and
vital energy pathways are blocked, preventing the body from functioning
effectively. Reflexology can be used to restore and maintain the
body's natural equilibrium and encourage healing.

A reflexologist uses hands only to apply gentle pressure to the
feet. For each person the application and the effect of the therapy
is unique. Sensitive, trained hands can detect tiny deposits and imbalances
in the feet, and by working on these points the reflexologist can
release blockages and restore the free flow of energy to the whole
body. Tensions are eased, and circulation and elimination is improved.
This gentle therapy encourages the body to heal itself at its own
pace, often counteracting a lifetime of misuse. |
